During a congratulatory visit to Buhari at the Defence House in Abuja yesterday, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Caretaker Committee told the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, that President Jonathan lied to the Igbo nation about awarding contract for the construction of Second Niger bridge and major federal roads in the South East.
They listed the Enugu-Awka-Onitsha Expressway and Enugu-Umuahia-Aba Expressway and said that up till now, work was yet to start at the sites. They also claim that not a single kobo had been committed by the Jonathan administration towards the construction of the Second Niger Bridge. They also said that the pictures made available from the Presidency were deceptive campaign messages to Ndigbo.
