EVENT: Mountain Crest school celebrates maiden step-up ceremony.
High-quality child early education helps to build a strong foundation for healthy development . Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
On July 19th, Mountain crest school, Owerri held its maiden step-up ceremony at the Arts Noveau event center. Founded by the wife of the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Deaconess Akudo Okafor, Mountain Crest school opened its doors in September 2013 with a mission to:
a) provide quality education for every child within a caring and stimulating environment where all members of the school community are valued and encouraged to reach their full potentials and experience success.
b) produce academically sound children…
c) produce spiritually sound children who will stand as ensigns in this society against the moral decadence that is sweeping among the nations.
At Mountain crest school, the curriculum is a blend of the British curriculum, Montessori Method of education and the Nigerian curriculum. Students are taught various subjects ranging from Information Communication Technology (ICT), Music to Igbo, French and Spanish.
