Chief Athan Achonu has emerged Peoples Democratic Party flag bearer for the Okigwe senatorial zone.
He defeated four aspirants: Hon Patrick Chibueze, Prof Nnamdi Obiageri, Chief Cosmas Iwu and the incumbent Senator, Mathew Nwagwu.
A well deserved victory for the man of the people! Congratulations!!
