Imo State set to receive COVID-19 vaccines.
The Imo State Government will soon receive the COVID-19 Vaccine.
Briefing the press after the weekly executive council meeting today, Hon. Declan Emelumba, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, also disclosed that 305 solar powered refrigerators are ready for the Vaccine’s cold chain storage medium.
He also disclosed that Imo state government under the leadership of Governor Hope Uzodinma has released funds for the training of medical personnel for the vaccinations.
The delivery is part of a first wave of arrivals in Nigeria that will continue in the coming days and weeks.
