WORKERS DAY: Governor Okorocha’s message to workers in Imo state
His Excellency, the Executive Governor of the State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha heartily congratulates workers in the State as they celebrate their day on Friday, May 1, 2015, with other workers across the nation.
The Governor noted that Imo workers had been wonderful and dedicated both in the discharge of their individual responsibilities, and in collaborating with the Rescue Mission Government in the state to record monumental achievements in less than four years.
The governor remarked that, his administration would not have been able to achieve all it has recorded to its credit without the commendable cooperation of the workers in the state, and also commended the workers highly for not allowing themselves to be deceived into becoming tools in the hands of desperate candidates before and during the 2015 elections in the state.

He assured that his administration would continue to work assiduously to ensure that workers in the state would continue to be given the attention and honour due for them, and that it was against the backdrop of his administration’s regard for workers, that their salaries were always and will continue to be paid as at when due.
The governor prayed that the Almighty God would grant the workers in the state good health, and all their noble heart-desires, while also urging the workers to continue to work in harmony with the government in the overall interest of the state and her people.
