If you haven’t heard, Governor Rochas Okorocha has revoked the ban on construction of high-rise buildings in the following housing areas in Owerri. They are: Aladinma, Federal Housing Estate, World Bank zones.
Due to the ‘kpa-facted’ situation in the state capital, the Exectuive Governor deemed it necessary to revoke the ban to allow people improve their living space if they chose to.
Before now, dating back to our state creation in 1976, only Bungalow style buildings with uniform designs were permitted in these areas. What this new development means is that home owners in the above mentioned places are now free to take their buildings to the next level according to your pocket.
