BREAKING: Governor Hope Uzodinma attacked in Ohaji; former deputy Governor fingered.

Reports reaching IMO STATE BLOG state that youths of Mmahu community threw stones, sticks and ammunition they could they lay their hands on upon sighting the Governor Hope Uzodinma’s convoy. Chants of “Onye Oshi Vote, Onye Oshi Vote” rendered the atmosphere. If it were not for the merciful God , the bullet proof vehicle the Governor was riding in, the Deputy Governor Prof. Placid Njoku would have been sworn in as you read this. The eagle eyed Security operatives quickly swung into action and whisked the Governor away from the scene.

Fingers are already pointing to an immediate past deputy Governor of the State. IMO STATE BLOG appeals for calm and against any hasty retaliation. Stay tuned for Scene 2.
