Buhari visits Imo state to thank voters for their support.
With every sense of humility and gratitude to the almighty God, the State Governor, His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and the Rescue Mission administration in the State have the pleasure to inform the people of the State, both at home and in diaspora that His Excellency, General Mohammadu Buhari, the President-Elect on the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC, will be visiting the State to thank the people and government of the State for their unalloyed support that contributed greatly to his resounding victory at the poll on March 28, 2015.
The historic visit to the State by the President-Elect is on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, and the time is 10am, while the venue for the august event will be at the Heroes Square.
The People’s Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha who God had used to make the State in particular and the South-East in general to be part of the success story of General Buhari’s victory, had earlier thanked Imo people for their perseverance and support.
His Excellency therefore urges Imo people irrespective of their political affiliations to come out in their large to welcome the President-Elect. The Governor said that in the new emerging order, everybody will be carried along and people will not be discriminated against on ground of their Political linings.
The Governor and the people of the State wish the President-Elect hitch-free trip thro’ and fro’ Imo State. God will continue to bless Imo State and her people.
