Catholic Bishop of Orlu diocese showers praises on Gov. Okorocha

Bishop of Orlu Catholic Diocese, Rt. Rev. Augustine Ukwuoma, Monday, October 2, 2017 paid solidarity visit to the governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha with some priests from the Diocese wishing him more fruitful years ahead and commending him for his good works.

The visit of the Bishop to the governor at the Government House has taken place in less than 48hours after those who could better be described as opponents of the governor and the administration, who only exist on the social media had posted the photographs of some catholic faithful in Orlu Diocese in black attire to mourn their slain Priest Rev. Father Cyriacus Onunkwo but said they were on protest over the state of affairs in the state.
And the visit of the Bishop and some Priests from the Diocese had shamed the characters behind the falsehood.
Opponents of the governor and the Rescue Mission Government have become so frustrated by the monumental achievements of the governor and they have only taken consolation on the social media where they peddle rumours and market falsehood.
In his speech, Bishop Ukwuoma said “I am here with some members of the Clergy and Laity to wish our governor, His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha happy birthday. We appreciate what he has been doing for the Diocese, in uplifting the state, his education policies, road infrastructure and the development of human essence in our state”.
The Bishop continued, “we thank him and wish him many more years of good health, success in his ambition as a politician, as a statesman and his life as a Christian. We wish him all the best. Your Excellency in the name of your home Diocese, Orlu, we wish you happy birthday and many more years of fruitful service to our state and humanity”.
The governor thanked them for the love they have shown him and assured that he would continue to serve God and humanity.
