Commissioner Offor assures communities fair share of democracy dividends.

The Imo state commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Chinedu Offor has stated that the Rescue Mission administration under the leadership of His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha is impartial and transparent as it is poised to developing all nooks and crannies of the state.

Addressing a delegation of Owerri branch Assembly of Umuduru Egbeaguru in Onuimo LGA, when they paid a courtesy visit to his office, the Information Commissioner maintained that Governor Okorocha has employed the principle of equity and fair play in the distribution of democracy dividends in the state and acknowledged that Onuimo local Government is remembered in the scheme of things in the present dispensation.

He therefore assured the Assembly that government has put necessary measures in place to guard against diversion of funds meant for community development. Enumerating some development projects instituted in Onuimo which ranged from construction of new General Hospital, provision of other health care needs in the rural communities, on-going road projects and proposed building of pre-fabricated modern class room blocks, the Commissioner clearly stated that the fourth tier government concept will go a long way in driving to Umuduru Egbeaguru and to all communities in the state.
