Details from Gov.Okorocha’s interactive session in Lagos.

Gov. Rochas Okorocha has renewed the commitment of his administration to implement policies and programmes geared towards industrial take off of the state.

During the recent interactive session with some notable businessmen in Lagos, Governor Okorocha urged them to take the advantage of his infrastructural transformation to enhance their profit margin by investing in the state.

“We are ready to partner with serious businessmen who are prepared to explore the diverse resources of the state for our mutual benefit”, Okorocha said.

He further explained that his administration had put in the necessary frame-work in place to attract huge investment in the tourism sector and further strengthen the sector by renovating the famous Imo Concorde Hotel to a five star standard and on-going construction of three more five star hotels in Okigwe, Orlu and Owerri.

The governor however pledged his readiness to open up the state to both local and international investors by creating the enabling environment for maximum profitability.

Emeka Ibe .True Imolites are not in any PROBLEM. True Imolites are not in problem but have been delivered from devils and political hawks. I don’t care if Rochas seizes Imo political structure, which people mean, when they sound as you did. Perhaps you are a politician, I don’t care. I only care that Rochas is working.Rochas is not god but he is a saint among any other politician that has governed Imo State after Mbakwe. There is no problem with his policies. I am aware of the issue of rule of law that some people do raise especially with the sack of PDP LG chairmen. Those so-called chairmen should even ask themselves if they were truly elected. However, I mourn political charlatans who have been starved of the usual handout from PDP-led government. Are we spending more than our budget in Imo? I’ll answer no. The difference is that this government has plucked leakages that the previous administrations thrived on. Only our conscience should be our judge. Until Rochas turns to evil, I will only support him and vote for him million times. Our problem in Nigeria is that we tend to judge achievement by political handout.

  Austin, i have imbibed ur definition of “true Imolites”. It appears a very huge percentage of Imo people have been discounted n over-reached by ur design. Nevertheless, enjoy ur party while it lasts. I’m not a “politrician”. I’m just a stickler for good governance, which entails strict adherence to certain hallowed principles like transparency, probity, accountability, open society, due process, rule of law n constitutionalism. No amount of legacy will endure if not backed by law. That’s d problem i have with Rochas’ style of (mis)governance. Imo people have gone thru a lot, hence, they deserve nothing but d best.

GIVE ROCHAS A CHANCE TO PERFORM U IDIOTS.. IS ONLY FOOLS LIKE U THAT DOESN’T KNOW WHAT IT TAKES TO BRING CHANGE TO THE PEOPLE ..YOU PEOPLE ARE THE EXAMPLES OF WHAT HAPPENED IN THE BIBLE WHEN GOD RESCUED THE PEOPLE FROM EGYPT.. JUST LITTLE TRIAL THAT WE SHOULD EXERCISE PATIENCE TO PASS OVER WE HAVE STARTED CRYING.. ROCHAS DOES NOT BRING TAX PAYERS MONEY TO THE POLITICIANS TO SHARE TO THEIR VARIOUS POCKETS THAT IS WHY YOU ALL CRYING .. THE TAX PAYERS MONEY SHOULD BE — — USED FOR DEVELOPMENT U POLITICAL TUGS AND FOLLOW FOLLOW SHOULD WORK FOR YOUR WAGES AND WAIT FOR POBLIC MONEY TO BE GIVEN TO U THIEVES..

My able Governor, you have done well and may God keep guiding you for all your endeavours in your state. dont mind what some idiots among is is saying..continue with your good job and develope imo state for our future benefit of our children yet unborn is what we need to emphesis at the moment and not to share money to God fathers whoi have rated themselves too low. Imo must be better and if they deceist then we will turn against those who thought they are God fathers and kill them because only Isu LGA can do that we have the most powerful distroyers in the state than any other part of the state but we just calm to watch if any reaction then we will initiate our plans and kill those that is against development of Imo State. Lont live Imo state and Long Live fer=deral republic of Nigeria
