DIASPORA: Imo State Government to appoint International Liason Officers.

Governor  Rochas Okorocha has disclosed plans to appoint International Liaison Officers (ILO) in every Community of the State.

The Governor disclosed this at various Town Hall meetings in the United States and recently during a sensitization tour of Nwangele Local Government Area on the proposed Community Government Council (CGC).

Gov.Okorocha called on the Communities in Imo State to each nominate three of their indigenes resident in America, Europe or Asia who will be appointed as the International Liaison Officers (ILO) for the Community.

 

This initiative according to the governor will encourage their sons and daughters in Diaspora to close ranks to ensure a speedy development of the rural Communities in the State.
