Gov.Okorocha advocates for rebirth of national Culture.

Governor Rochas Okorocha has advocated for Nigeria’s strong cultural reposition as against borrowed values from the Western countries. Owelle Rochas Okorocha who gave this advice at the University of Nigerian Nsukka where he delivered a lecture at the University’s 20 billion Naira Endowment Fund/Launching ceremony said it will enable the nation’s economy grow according to the setting of the society.

The governor expressed that Nigerian came into existence in 1914 and ought to have grown a solid economic and socio-cultural base for speedy development and nationhood. He posited that the problem of our country is not illiteracy or poverty, rather politicians who always look up for next elections at the detriment of planning for the future generation. He however encouraged the management of the University to introduce programmes that will enhance their internally generated revenue so as to achieve full autonomy of the institution.
