Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has described his victory at Appeal Court Abuja as a manifestation of an election made by God.
Briefing Journalists shortly after his arrival at Sam Mbakwe
International Cargo Airport, Owerri, Governor Okorocha stated that the Judgment was to convince the people of the state that true Democracy has come to stay in Nigeria.
According to Gov. Okorocha, the victory has marked an end to era of un-credible leaders in Imo Government House.
“It is a signal and sign that evil men will not handle the affairs of Imo state again and also a warning to treacherous men to stay clear as days are gone when men fix their choice in power against the wish of the masses,” he said.
Gov. Okorocha who explained that it is usually rare to win an
incumbent in any election because of the power attached to them, stressed that his winning was clean and real and have positioned the state Rescue Mission administration to bring more economic development projects in the state.
He however warned against any further distraction that may cause unrest in the state and urged Imolites to celebrate their victory peacefully.
