Junior Chamber International,Ikoyi inducts Nwosu as Patron.

Just as the river will continur to flow where it will,the rising profile of Ugwumba uche Nwosu,the chief of staff to the Imo State Government has continued on thecascendency as he was recently inducted patron ,Junior Chamber International (JCI)an international organization for the emancipation of youths world over.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony of 45th National Convention Logo of the chamber at the New Concorde Hotel,the chief of Staff who represented the Executive Governor of Imo State,His Excellency,Owelle Rochas Okorocha,promised that the state Government will give them a platform to thrive.

He called on the youths to position themselves well and be ready to take up leadership postions,calling on them to take their destinies in their hands and be the driver of their own destinies .He advised them to be proactive and never wait for Government to do everything for them .He used some illustrations to drive home his points for them to take their destinies in their hands.

Nwosu described himself as a member of the organization saying that was why he made sure that they had a conducive enviromment for their unveiling ceremony .He advised youths of Imo state to join the organization so as to avail themselves with numerous opportunities that abounds in it,including international empowerment and connection.

He enumerated the various programmes of the state Government aimed at empowering youths and women of the state ,including the recruitment of over 3000 gradiates into the state civil service and local Government service commision ,the various security networks,the recent 305 youth millonaries empowered by the State Government ,the ongoing empowerment of over 10,000 women with 100,000 each for small scale bussiness,among others .

Ugwumba Uche Nwosu went ahead to advise youths of Imo state and Nigeria at large to be focused in life and stop jumping from one ship to another.
“Leaders are people who are ready;Leaders are not people who jump from one ship to another,time has come for consistency in all human endeavours”.Nwosu advised.

In his address earlier,the JCI National president 2017 JCIN Senator Richard Ojo thanked His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha for giving them a conducive atomsphere for their conference,as well as patrnering them and being part of the unveiling.

He enumerated some opportunities that abound in membership of the chambers ,including individual opportunities,community opportunities,international opportunities ,business opportunities .He said the organization offers young people the opportunity to succeed .That it offers the challenges that make life more meaningful,worthwhile and personally rewarding.
On the business area of opportunity he said almost all members of JCI are involved in some business activity whelter on their own,working for another company or maybe aspiring to open their own business .He said the aim of JCI was to give young people an active voice in the business community.

He said the chamber offers their members the opportunity to exchange bussiness ideas and do bussiness with other intrested members not only in their own chapter or country but also with a network of more than 1,000,000(one million)members around the worlf.He called on youths of the state to take advantage of the chamber for their intellectual development.

In their seperate remarks JCIN Ambassador Chikelue Ogujiofor,2017 JCIN Ikoyi President ,JCI Senator Basi Akujobi,2017 JCI Nigerian Nationak convention Director thanked the State Government for its partnership with the chamber.
They noted that the chamber will offer youths of the state a lot of oppirtunites

Highpoint of the unveiling of the chamber by the chief of staff,the cutting of the cake and the induction and presentation of an honourary award to Nwosu. The conference proper is scheduled to take place in october in the state.

Some dignitaries who accompanied the Chief of staff to the unveiling Ceremony include;Former Commisioner for Commerce and Industry; Engr.Chidi Ibe,Former Adviser to the Govenor on Health,Dr Edward Ihejirika,former TC Chairmen Nkwerre,Ikeduru,Isiala Mbano,Barr .Paschal Onwukaike,Mr Evan Enwerem Jnr,the member representing Nkwerre Constutiency in Imo state House Of Assembly,Engr Chika Madumere among others.
