The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has urged women in the state to be more consistent and hard working as they sustained their support for the governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha on his rescue mission.
Madumere said Okorocha is encouraged with the supports from the Imo State women, a reason his government has been soaring with laudable achievements, which according to him, will outlive his administration.
The Deputy Governor said this during a ceremony marking the inauguration of Nneoma Women in Mbaitoli at Nwaorieubi of Imo sate which had in attendance the Frst Lady, Nneoma Rochas Okorocha.
He told the large crowd of women at the event never to relent in supporting the governor and the government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for more rewards.
He said their support became necessary in view of the need to ward of bad political influence constituted by desperate politicians in the state as 2015 approaches.
He said Okorocha always means well for the people of the state and has placed the interest of women at the center of agenda by his government.
He said the free education by the government of Imo state was meant to assuage the sufferings of needy parents, while also promoting rapid growth of education in the state.
Madumere, however, pleaded with the women to sustain their support for the governor, most especially in his bid to return to the government house by 2015.
He described Okorocha as the most hardworking governor, who, according to him deserved all the supports from the state to attain greater accomplishments.
