Imo State Governor, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha has yet again received vehement resistance over his purported move to vie for the office of the Presidency saying he must finish the good work he has started in the State.
The group under the aegis of Youth Leaders of Community Government Council made this remark earlier today when they paid a courtesy call on the deputy governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere.
Speaking during the visit, Dike Lawrence, a man servant and the Coordinator of the said forum, said they came to show solidarity to the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and his deputy, Prince Madumere for their transformation of Imo State saying they have brought about transformation and reformation.
Dike further disclosed that Mbaitoli has received a share in dividends of democracy, which he said could never be compared with past administrations. He thanked the Deputy Governor for attracting the rehabilitation of Nkwo-Obazu Road that is on going, which he said has been abandoned for over twenty years. Among other areas of commendation mentioned by Dike are Nwaorieubi City, Dualization of Owerri Orlu Road and free education scheme which he said affects every family in Imo State.
He therefore registered unalloyed support of Mbaitoli youths for Rescue Mission Government. He averred that there is no vacancy in Douglas House. He further called on Governor Okorocha to jettison his presidential ambition to finish the good work he is doing in Imo State. His words, “Your Excellency, the deputy Governor of Imo State and our brother, our hope has been restored by trade mark projects in our local government and at the State level at large. We are solidly in support you you and Governor Owelle Rochas second term. Please Sir, kindly tell our Governor to settle for a return to Douglas House for now.”
Responding to the youth leaders, Prince Eze Madumere, the best deputy governor in the South East thanked them for standing by the side of the truth. He urged them to imbibe the virtue of hard work, patience and patriotism.
He promised take their message to Governor Okorocha while assuring them that Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha led administration will do even much more. He also called on his guests to continue in their support for Governor Okorocha as there is no alternative.
