Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, CON has called on Nigerians to put the past behind them and look forward with hope, optimism and renewed faith in themselves and the country in the year 2013 and beyond.
In a new year message, the deputy speaker said the challenges of the outgoing year have helped to strengthen the resolve of Nigerians to overcome the hurdles of nation-building, noting that the country has come out stronger in spite of them.
He expressed hope that Nigeria will be better in the new year and that all citizens must continue to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the country.
Hon. Ihedioha congratulated Nigerians, Imolites as well as his constituents of Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala federal constituency for the God-given opportunity to see a brand new year.
He pledged increased commitment in contributing his quota towards improving the lives and living conditions of his constituents, Ndi Imo and Nigerians generally through the instrumentality of his office as Deputy speaker.
