So yesterday,there were a total of 93 Ambassadors who received their Letters of Credence from Pres.Jonathan at the State House, Abuja.

62 of which will head their various Missions  while 24 of them will support as Deputy Heads of Mission. 7 will remain in the Country.

Late Ikemba Ojukwu’s widow, Lady Bianca will be headed off to Spain. Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu will serve as the Head of Mission at the Nigerian Embassy in Madrid. Prior to the Ambassadorial appointment. Amb.Ojukwu has previously served as a Special Assistant to Pres.Goodluck Jonathan on Diaspora matters.

 A pharmacist by training, Amb. Fidelia Njeze will Head the Nigerian Mission in Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to this appointment. Amb. Njeze was appointed Minister of State for Defence in July 2007, and then on 17 December 2008 she became Minister of State for Agriculture And Water Resources. She is also a former Minister for Aviation.

Mrs. Nonye Rajis -Okwara will head Nigeria’s Mission in Singapore. Prior to her nomination and subsequent appointment, Amb. Okwara served as Director General for Rochas Foundation.


 THREE TIME Minister, Ojo Maduekwe  becomes Nigeria’s Ambassador to Canada. He is a former National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and  worked as the Deputy Director of the Goodluck/Sambo Presidential Campaign in 2011.
