Na wa o. Why is Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke always in the news for one scandal or the other? Bit by bit, the luxurious lifestlye of our susbidy crying Ambassador is being exposed by well meaning Nigerians who want to help the EFCC fight corruption.

Earlier today, pictures of Madam and her sons went viral on the internet . Everybody wants to know the koko behind the Private Jet her son uses . Someone tried to justify the purchase of the Private Jet by saying that the son, Ugonna Madueke is a rapper in America. Which America and where is he waxing the Album, please?  Anyway, back to our Honourable Minister. The picture below shows her in a Posh stretch limousine. Her Champagne glass is half full….

How can one be drinking Champagne  and preaching subsidy to someone drinking Zobo?

Not quite long ago, the issue of  a $20 million dollar mansion in Australia came up,  Mrs. Madueke refuted the story. Ofcourse, many of us did not buy  what her camp tried to sell us but we chose not to press further.  Even when speculations filtered the air on an alleged relationship between our Minister and a well known Nigerian born Jeweler based in America, IMO STATE BLOG refused to get involved.

For those scratching their head  and wondering what we are talking about,  Premium Times  has raised the story again for your reading pleasure.

Last year, NEXT, one of Nigeria’s most respected newspapers, ran a series of investigative reports that linked the minister herself to monumental corruption. The government is yet to act on those allegations. In one of those reports, titled “Oil minister, her jeweller and their sweetheart deal”, the Minister was said to have discretionally licensed one Christopher Aire, a 47-year-old United States-based Nigerian celebrity jewellery designer and merchant, to be lifting crude oil.

Mr Aire’s company, Solid 21 Incorporated, which dealt strictly in jewellery and wristwatches, did not meet any of the criteria spelt out in the guidelines for prospective crude oil lifters. But, between July 9 and July, 2010, he incorporated two companies, Siseno Oil Nigeria Limited, as well as Caligeria Oil Limited. Both companies were to undertake the businesses of petroleum products sales and distribution.

That is by the way.

Now that this issue of Private Jet has reared its ugly head, how will Madam Diezani Alison-Madueke clear her name?
