MY PROFOUND LETTER OF APOLOGY TO THE PEOPLE OF IMO STATE FOR MY ROLES IN THE ELECTION OF GOVERNOR OKOROCHA
Today May 29, 2017 marks the 2nd anniversary of the election of Gov. Okorocha as governor of Imo State for the 2nd term. We are supposed to be celebrating the dividends of democracy. Rather, the people of Imo State are saddled with tales of woes orchestrated by the misrule of Mr. Rochas Okorocha. Ndi Imo, we were warned by those who knew him intimately.
We were excited then to have in our fold a serving Governor from the South East who promised to provide – Job! Job!! Job!!! factory! Factory!! Factory!!! Industry! Industry!! Industry!!! Employment! Employment!! Employment!!! – for the teaming unemployed youth in our beloved State. Down the line we have seen that not even a pure water, candle or block industry has been built anywhere. All we see are poverty, unemployment, deception and lies. Now we challenge him to build at least one or two or three industries for the sake of God. We promised for instance that if you gave your land across the 27 LGAs we would build 27 ultra modern specialist hospitals that shall serve the health needs of the masses at heavily subsidized rates. We tore down existing medical infrastructure in many places. You agreed and gave. We built but Rochas is now giving away your hospitals built with State money to the Army, the Air Force, and Police for free without your approval. I apologize.
