RSVP: Ihitte Uboma hosts Civic reception for Rt.Hon Benjamin Uwajumogu

We just learnt that the good people of Ihitte Uboma will be holding a reception in honour of their son, Rt.Hon Benjamin Uwajumogu this Saturday, Nov.19th.

The event is being organized by the Umuihi/Ihinna Consultative Forum community in conjuction with Ihinna Town Unions – Ihitte Uboma L.G.A

Speaker Uwajumogu has graciously extended an invitation to the public through his Media Adviser, Ikenna Samuelson.

Another unnecessary jamboree at the covert expense of the Imo tax payers. What exactly is the need for these receptions? Benjamin is a Nigerian, won an election to a state H.O.A and was selected by his peers to be the speaker-and he happens to come from Ihite uboma. The whole day will be wasted in irrelevant dances, masquerades and useless speeches from pathetic attention seekers at the community or state level. A day that should be spent on state duties or solemn relaxation in readiness for tougher govt duties will now be spent on frivolities of a useless reception for what? what are you receiving him for? he is only a few miles from Ihite and may not have been living there prior to him becoming the speaker. Mr Speaker to be honest with you, just tell them you’re unable to attend.
