Rt. Hon Chiji Collins is the new Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly.

Hon. Chiji Collins representing Isiala Mbano Constituency has emerged the new speaker of Imo state house of assembly. 

Also, the lawmaker representing Mbaitoli state constituency, Barr. Okey Onyekanma is the new deputy speaker.  Both emerged unopposed.
