S.A on Special citizens, Mrs.Kate Okoli and the vote of NO CONFIDENCE.

When it was reported that the physically challenged citizens  had passed a vote of no confidence on the Special Adviser to Governor Okorocha who was appointed to handle their affairs,it was a warning sign.  Incase you missed it, here’s the report from Frontline express.


Members of  the National Association of Physically Challenged Persons and Joint Association of People with Disability have unanimously passed vote of no confidence on the Special Assistant to the governor on Special Citizens Hon. Mrs. Kate Okoli, describing her as a misfit in the system.

The union therefore implored the governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha as a matter of urgency and necessity to redeploy Mrs. Okoli within one week or they would embark on three days hunger strike.

Making their position known to the governor during their protest at the government house, President of the group in Imo State Mr. Stanley Nwachukwu said that the SA has nothing to offer to better the lots of people with disability in the state, alleging that she wants to use the physically challenged to enrich herself.

He noted that the SA has even opened a website where she showcases herself as the mentor and sole sponsor of the disabled persons in Imo State to the world instead of projecting her principal the governor.

According to them, the SA even share money meant for disables publicity as if she is sharing it to her children and keeps the balance to herself, even while sharing the money she would engage the services of photographers and camera men to video her to look as if she was principally and solely assisting the physically challenged without the consent of the governor and thereby taking undeserved glory.

Speaking further, the president alerted that about 4 of their members are currently receiving treatment at various hospitals on degrees of injury sustained from the police whom the SA deployed to arrest, assault and intimidate them…
