ASSASSINATION REPORT: Speaker Uwajumogu’s aide murdered in cold blood.

The breaking news that greeted Imo State this morning was the gruesome murder of Pastor Emmanuel Adoba. He was killed in the early hours of today, August 1st, 2012 by unknown assassins.

His body was found with matchet cuts. Until his death, Mr.Adoba served as the Special Adviser on Administration to Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly,Rt.Hon.Benjamin Uwajumogu.

A press statement from the State House of Assembly disclosed that Speaker Uwajumogu is offering the amount of N500,000 to anyone who provides useful information leading to the arrest of the killers.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. All effort should be made to ensure that justice is done in this matter. Emmanuel Adoba was one of the few gentle men I have had cause to meet at the IMHA.

If this have has got anything to do with politics,then we are all in a hot soup,but no matter what brought to an end the life of this gentleman,it must be investigated very well.Like i have always said that security comes first in any decent society before any other flashy project.It’s a shame.May the young man’s soul rest in peace and my sympathy to his family and Uwajumogu

This is a very condemned act, to take someone’s life is never a thing to be forgiven. There are more ways to settle issues, but taking lives, should not be part of it. I console your family and may GOD, judge those who have done this evil against you.

Is really a sad news but it has become one of the usual thing in nigeria today. They knw themselve, these are politically motivated weda they accept it or not. Wickedness in the minds of our leaders, am not siding any one, am not supporting any one. The thing that pain me most now is dat i came to give them life policy but they rejected it. This is deeply worrisome that a young man was cut down in his prime for the reason I do not know. What could have made these cowards assasinate the pastor is more reason why the motive behind his killing should be unravel as quickly as possible. We the Okuku sons and daughters in diaspora are mourning the death of our brother, Pastor Emmanuel Adoba. I pray that God will grant his soul eternal rest and may he give the family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the irrepable loss. The killers will never know peace and the spirit of the pastor will hunt them for the rest of their lives. It’s very unfortunate that this kind of do or die politiking that is being practiced in Nigeria has taken a new dimension. This kind of politics is allien to Imo people in general and Okuku in particular. Okuku is a very peaceful, quiet and loving community that is known with this kind of junkie. May God rid the Okuku people and Imo state of evil and wicked people in Jesus name.
