BREAKING NEWS: Kidnapped Commissioner, Chioma Ogoke released!

IMO STATE BLOG is elated to announce the release of the State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Hon.Mrs.Chioma Ogoke from her captors.

A Senior official of the State Government confirmed that she was released in the early hours of Thursday Morning. The official further disclosed that though the State Government was not involved in any payment negotiations , the sum of N5 Million naira was exchanged for her release.

Over the weekend,  no less than 4 incidents of Kidnap reported. The Senior Official also confirmed the release of 2 others. Indeed, a traumatizing time for the Honourable Commissioner and everyone else who was taken into captivity.We thank the Almighty for their safe return.
