IMO STATE BLOG.com has confirmed the redeployment of Mr.Alex Ezuma from the Ministry of Environment to the Ministry of Culture & Tourism.
In a phone call with IMO STATE BLOG, the former Commissioner declined to state reasons on his deployment but disclosed that he was grateful to Governor Rochas Okorocha for giving him an opportunity to serve in another Ministry.
In his response, Honourable Alex Ezuma had this to say:
No. I wouldn’t want to discuss that. Its a personal talk but I thank God that I am in a new Ministry which is close to my personality.
Atleast In the History of the State so far, I was once a Commisioner for Environment and now Culture & Tourism. It is a plus to me so, I am grateful to God about that.
We cannot challenge the discretion of His Excellency, but we have the right to wonder within our minds on what actually led to the redeployment of a Commissioner barely a month after he was sworn in.
Calls made to the Office of the Chief of Staff, Prince Eze Madumere were not immediately returned.
From the streets of Ohaji Egbema to the privileged State Executive Council, Hon. Ezuma is noted as the youngest Commissioner ever appointed.
We wish him well in the Ministry of Culture & Tourism.
