I agree that we should celebrate another year in the life of this Monarch. Eze Njemanze is very simple and yet full of so much knowledge. he speaks volume about our rich cultural heritage. May God grant him many more decades on the throne and many more years on earth. Look forward to Oru Owere celebration at the end of the month. Onye Eze birikwa

We should stop selling our birth right to impostors from Anambra state who are settler from Benin, Ijaw and Igala, they are liars.

I want to comment on want Am express NTA showed today being 30th of July 2011 on television about the claims which some northern Anambras are claiming over the origin of Igbo, whereas they are immigrants from Igala, Benin and Ijaw people , for instance these local government areas I am going to mention now are mostly settlers from other tribes not even from Igbo tribe, Awka , Oyi, anioch, Ana mmili, Idemmili, Njikoka,Onitsha and Ogbaru LGA, to mention but a few, these are people from Igala, Ijaw Benin and even some are from Benue state and have no Igbo genealogy, so they just settled and inter married with the Ibos and some are even captives of Aro Chukwu warriors, now this reminds me of what my father told us when we are still kids, he has it that if you bring a slave and finally settle the slave with things like land, cash crops and other properties , that he will one day rise and tell you that he is your master or the person that brought you to where you are.

The real Ibos are people of old Imo state which comprises of this present Imo, Abia and half of Ebony state, southern part of Anambra state whch comprises of Ihiala LGA, Aguata LGA, Ukpo LGA and Orumba LGA and some parts of southern Enugu state, so these are the real typical Igbo people and their characters are different from these Igala settlers, Benin and Ijaw people who settled and inter married with them. So what Aguleri and Nri are talking is a fiction and debunk.

Igbo race did not start from their places and has no genealogy with the typical Igbo race let alone saying that they are the origin of the Ibos. To be sincere this not a fallacy Aguleri and Nri came from Igala as well as some of Onitsha people but the real Onitsha people came from Benin, therfore who are these communities to come out and begin to say that they are the Origin of the Ibos, to the extent of putting it on NTA Television, who is Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Achebe to stand firm to promulgate that Igbo has its Origin in Aguleri, he has no authority in the totalities of Igbo land to say that they are the origin of Igbo is a false information ,these are people that came and settled during the time of Aro Chukwu conquest and inter married with the Ibos .it is only the great Nzes , (thats the traditional holders of Igbo tradition) are the people to tell you about the origin of the Ibos .not group of impostors like Aguleri and Nri people, who are not real Ibos.

For instance is like this Igwe you normally here from the Anambra people is not an original Igbo word for a King or Chief ; it is a borrowed word from Benin Kingdom, that is where we have that word Igwe’s festival, and they took it from there, for instance Nnewi, Obosi and others derived it from there, and began to call it their Chiefs, again some of their dialects; tradition and culture are not the same in the real Igbo world, some are considered as a taboo where the real Ibos are .for Instance before the advent of the Portuguese and British colonels, the Ibos have Aro Chukwu as the only kingdom in Ibo land, and the kingdom is about 500years old, it was the british colonials that burnt it down and conquered it during the time they fought with Aro Chukwu empire for 3years around the year 1887 and the deity of Aro Chukwu was the deity which the Ibos do see as God then, and it is where the Ibos do go whenever anything mysterious happens and the word Chukwu or Chi -Ukwu ( that’s supreme being) emanated from that Chukwu Ibiama of Aro Chukwu, and the British began to create what is called warrant chiefs in Igbo land, consequently these creation of warrant chiefs gave birth to Ezes and Igwes in Igbo land.

In order to destabilize the kingdom because Aro Chukwu refuted the British rulership , it was the kingdom that was governing all Igbo land then,Aro Chukwu is the only ancient kingdom in Igbo land and the only historical town in Igbo land. and the real Ibos do say that they all came from there and they are the people that dominated all Igbo land both in business, economy, bravery , intelligence and other things, in short they are the people that was colonizing the Ibos before the advent of the colonial masters. Therefore any other claim in Igbo land beside this one is a counterfeit. This is not a lie, so do not listen to those who have no Igbo genealogy on what they are claiming. Try to make an inquiry for you self.

I congratulate you Eze Njemanze, Ozuruigbo one of Owerri,may the supreme being grant you a long live, Eze i ga adindu rue mgbe ebei ebei, again let us know the real Origin of the Igbos Nri and Aguleris are Igala settlers and are claim false to be the origin of the Igbos; please tell them to stop it this an authentic story.may your kingdom be extended to all Igbo land.
