This is a great selection, Gov elect. Okorocha is a man with wisdom and great expectation, i urge you to distance yourself from the criminally minded partners of ohakim, like Eze Ilomuanya, Iwuanyawu’s Ugoha Goddy Ibekwe and many 419 kinpins they are coming around to misdirect your vision and mission in imo state, remember you are our hope and our light, please don’t misbehave. Your success management of imo state and her resources will be a credit to us imolites and Ndi Igbo in general because you are our future and hope for presidency of ndi igbo. IKEDI OHAKIM and wife is most useless and irresponsible Gov i have ever seen in my life, a son of nobody who pick political leadership in a platter of gold without pain or input, yet he useless it without impunity. shame to Chioma Ohakim wife and her fake credential barrister without chamber like her so called friend Nkeiru Ugoha Ibekwe, the self positioned Onuimo LGA chairperson who equally has nothing to show for, as self acclaimed barrister without certificate, that Nkiru is worst because she cannot put up a polished English talk more to represent a client in court. They are indolent lawyers without chamber. They are all flyers in history of Imo state and mankind. Very wicked and inhuman sect of people who are fighting with husband and relatives day in day out. shame to them and history have pronounced then death both in politics and relation.

AT LEAST ONE WOULD HAVE WISHED , THAT BY NOW IMO STATE GOVERNMENT WOULD HAVE BEEN AS FRESH AS THE GOVERNOR( OKOROCHA).

HAVE YOU GUYS GONE THROUGH THE STATE ADVISERS AND COMMISSIONERS LIST RECENTLY RELEASED BY THE GOVERNOR AND FROM THERE YOU CAN TAKE OFF.

YOU WILL SEE NAMES LIKE :PROF. VIOLA ONWULIRI, ( FORMER OHAKIMS RUNNING MATE), MIKE OKIRO ( FORMER ..IG OF POLICE , RIVERS STATE) KANU NWANKWO..( FOOTBALLER NO GOOD EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND , WITHOUT ANY ADMINISTRATIVE EXPRIENCE… FROM ABIA STATE).PROF. OSUJI(FORMER MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND LATER WAS SACKED BY OBASANJO REGIME , TO TAKE UP THE APPOINTMENT AS A STATE COMMISIONER , YOU ALL SHOULD KNOW THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG SOME WHERE, AND MANY OTHERS IN THE LIST. I am hoping this man is not fluff but no stuff. Almost all his decision so far has been nothing but errors. What is the deal with all these failed individuals being recycled. J am starting to get worried for Imo people. We may not be getting what we bargained for after all.

THIS LIST IS POPULATED WITH PEOPLE WITHOUT ZEAL TO SERVE THE STATE.THE NAMES DID NOT RATIONALISE THE CONFIDENCE REPOSED IN ROCHAS.

Critics of the nominees, hold your breath and watch out. Give the Rochas a chance and allow him to prove himself. Remember no one is perfect hence no list will be perfect. We must fine faults with another list and another one and another one etc.

The list submitted by Gov Rochas to the State Assembly as his nominees for Commissioner and Special Adviser positions clearly shows that he lacks the capacity to harness the abundant and energetic human resources in the state for progress in a 21st century state. Can Prof Osuji or Dike tweet, surf, or blog the net? Rochas is leaving in the past and is on a self-destructive path as he has shown a huge capacity for incapacity in the few days he has presided over the affairs of the state. Imo people would eventually come to understand that talk is cheap and that there is a huge difference between “guided philanthropy” and leadership. It is apparent that Rochas would eventually unmake himself.

Majority of us voted for Rochas Okorocha and that is why he won the election convincingly. We had the mind that he is the best among those that contested, so my dear critics let’s give him chance to run this government because he has our mandate. I feel it is too early to start criticising him in regard to his appointments or whatsoever. I know that most of us are only good in criticisms but if they are given the opportunity, Ohakim will be better than them.

Okorocha you are a man loved by us that is why despite all odds, all pressure and all the battle, we THE ENTIRE YOUTHS OF IMO STATE stood by you to see you win. This is an era for the youth to be given a chance to leadership as Goodluck could have used the former IG Okiro for Min for Security. The fact remains that you are FULLY a youth irrespective of your age; hence we expect you to go more with the youths. Imagine yourself being a governor with youths like your deputy Agbaso and even intelligent and younger ones than himself as your Commissioners and SAs? What do you think our government would be like? Don’t you think Imo State would become the heart of GREAT ACTIVE GOVERNANCE in Nigeria? My advice my governor is that you should put aside that list submitted. Anyway, we are quite sure that it is not your write up or intention, therefore we urge to use the power infested on you by our votes, confidence and love and out a complete STRIKE OUT to that list. After all, we still have very intelligent and potential leaders wasting in other states. Finally I advise you to be ware of WOLVES in SHEEP skin.

Imolites should still watch for some moments. I know by now people like Fabian Osuji who has tasted bitter pills of sack for incompetence must have learn their lessons. And other corrupt names;what happened to Ohakim and Bakole await them if they still fall into these shoes.who will believe that Ohakim will run out of Imo state?

Rochas has submitted a list of formidable team which we all need to pray for as to enable them succeed. To be an IG of a country like Nigeria, such a person should be able manage a state like Imo. To me, the list is a combination of experience and fresh hand both in Government and in the circular. SO LET US PRAY TO GOD TO GUILD THEM.

I am sure that most of all these self appointed critics knows the geographical entity called Imo state very well.If not,i don’t think that you guys have any good reason to criticise the Owelle based on his appointments so far afterall, the journey is for four years in the first instance.Or do you people want us to go back to “Ohakimism” which was a period of come and chop?.Please lets give our Governor a chance to make a mistake and learn from it. How does our deputy governor combine two offices at the same time? Can Namadi Sambo become Nigerian’s minister of finance as well as a vice president at the same time? When its was Charles soloudo we never knew that someboby like lamido sanusi can do better. There are young educated people in this state that can nominated than compounding it on one man.

I doubt the credibility of this list, the name Nich Opara Ndidi, do you mean Nich Opara-Ndudu? Owelle we have more credible hands than what you’ve just shown on this list plase for Gods sake do not disapoint those who had sleepless nights ensuring that your mandate was given to you, this list I strongly belive cannot give us that change we desire based on their past records. I really hope you know who they really are and what they are capable of doing.

I am completely appalled at Obinna onwuoachu’s criticism of the rescue list. This man is as ignorant as his comments. In this day and age, to think that someone who resides overseas could still be thinking of politics along tribal lines is pathetic. In fact, Okorocha should appoint a Chinese business man as commissioner for commerce and industry in my own opinion. Kanu Nwankwo knows Imo more than he knows Abia, Mike Okiro as an ex IGP will be a rare gift to Imo as a security adviser, Fabian Osuji is an accomplished academic etc. A Nigerian of Igbo extraction is an MP in the UK house of commons, also in polish parliament is an igbo medical doctor, a Nigerian of yoruba extraction was a mayor of a county council in Ireland. Obinna, wake up and smell the coffee, we’re in the 21st century. Ezeowere lives in Dublin Ireland.

Yes we have fought and elected him into the Douglas House so let’s give him a chance to perform. I for one pitied him the very Saturday(28/5/2011) in his country home in Ogboko with the marmot crowed that came to see him from 6am to 1pm before he left to attend to the traditioal rulers who were also waiting to see him at Owerri. Remember, he has only one head but with our cooperation he will rescue Imo.

To say the names on the list are disappointing is an understatement , for crying out loud , some of these men are in their seventies and are have been shown through previous appointments held to be sorely lacking in the integrity department. sorannadi Njoku is a man without honour and has made a career as a sellout,fabian Osuji ? ….common pls give me a break ,is dat anyones idea of a joke,……okay ralph Ekezie ….that position is beneath him in evey way or are we talking about his son…kanu nwankwo…okay …now i get it, someone is pulling a practical joke…how the hell is he going to express himself enough to put his opinions across , now lets not talk about implementing anything,the only sensible name on that list is john chike okafor ,way to decent to be rollicking with all them crazies and terribly recycled politicians , i’m so sad…..back to square one!

what are we talking about, let us give our beloved governor a chance to lead us. I strongly believe that he can to it and he can also remove any incompetent person in that list. Remember no great man without a mistake.

If by the end of 2yrs we don’t see any improvment then we can start to coment against the leadership because it is not what we expected from him on his rescue mission. But now lets believe that he know what he is doing.

I want those criticizing the cabinet make up of Okorocha to please give him their own nominees. The problem with the administration of the country or state or even any organization is not with the appointed workers , in this case the commissioners and special advisers but with the elected leaders( the president and Governors. When the leader is good, every other person under him will perform. If any one did not perform, the leader knows what to do because he will be held accountable. For now I suggest let us give him a chance and see where he is leading us. God bless the people of Imo state and our Governor.

From the list, one can easily see that the nominated commissioners and advisers are capable and qualified to take Imo state to a greater height. based on this premise, I advice that the list should not be turned down. The people of Imo state, it’s time we rise up to our responsibilities and serve as watch Dogs over our leaders by making effective use of the Freedom Of Information Bill [FOIB] rather than sit back and complain. With this, we can achieve much. Ride on, His Excellency. We are solidly behind you.

My brothers i wish to state here that most of our critics are of selfish reasons take a look at the list of advicers you see that it is made up of profesionals in the revernt field . look at some one saying kalu is not from imo that persone most be primitive in nature becuse lagos state commisioner for for eight is from igbo,local goverment chairman is from igbo he also said that kalu is not educated in this field the experience you can hanes from kala u can not get it from any orther in sport he done so well in administration an nigerian capt. and as in carrer with somuch exposure.

Fabian osuji is a seasoned edocationist with good backgroud.

Soronidi njoke is anti ohakim and will like to make up his name clean in this admistration. If an to say the inclution of viola is good to balace the true governace and carry orther party along.Also i wish to sate here that the duputy governor can conbine two jods to be relevant in this admistration in lagos state Fashola is the governor and also the commisioner for works. The presidecy also spaer heads the power sector him sels if u want something done well do it your self and take responsibility.

I do not think that we will do away completly with the oil wood you will need to lighten up the new wood.

Rochas has shown that Imo is doomed, that there is no better man and that he as a private person and as a Governor are two different things. He is a disappointment, I will never vote in elections again. In Imo today, no salary since July, lying over pension payment, nomination of wrong people in his carbinet, lying over Imsu school fees, e.t.c. I just wasted my vote on him.
