Judges and other judicial officers in the State have been assured of an enhanced welfare to motivate them in their various assignments. In a recent meeting with Judges at the Government House, Gov.Okorocha estimated about 12 billion Naira to pay outstanding severance allowance and pension of the Judicial officers as at when due.
He posited that Judges going by the nature of their jobs, deserved good working conditions to enable them discharge their duties effectively. He solicited for understanding and cooperation between the executive and judiciary especially now that his administration is determined to transform and place Imo in the region of progressive states in the country.
The Press Release further stated that Gov. Okorocha attributed the excellent performance of his administration as rated by Imo citizens to prudent management of resources and promised to embark on programmes and policies that will ensure speedy socio-economic development of the state.
