Our State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has reassured that his administration will complete all the ongoing projects in the State. According to this communique , Gov. Okorocha, disclosed this in a recent meeting with contractors held at the Government House. He warned against poor quality job, stating that his administration would not hesitate to revoke any contract that falls below the stipulated standard.
The Governor explained that apart from releasing mobilization fund to all rural road contractors that qualified for payment, the state government had made adequate arrangement to ensure that contractors get their payment immediately on completion of their jobs.
Gov. Okorocha added that the 1000+ kilometer of roads embarked upon by his administration was a demonstration of his commitment to overall development of the state. He promised that the state fund would be judiciously utilized to ensure that all projects initiated by his administration are completed.
“Though it appears we have many projects ongoing in the state, against our limited resources, my assurance to Imolites is that these projects including roads will be completed as planned. We will not hesitate to deal with any contractor that compromises with standard because we are building for tomorrow.”
He enjoined the people to support the government and shun the antics of some opposition parties who have sworn to remain enemies of the state.
