Late Lady Eudora Iwuanyanwu – Right (Yellow)

IMO STATE BLOG regrets to announce the passing away of Lady Eudora Iwuanyanwu on Sunday August, 28th 2011. She died after a sudden Cardiac- arrest in her home in London. She was aged 63.

Lady Eudora Iwuanyanwu was the wife to Elder statesman and renowned Business man, Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, MFR, KFC.

Speaking to IMO STATE BLOG, daughter, Mrs.Ezinne Iwuanyanwu – Alao  noted that Lady Eudora  was a  mother to many and had a heart of Gold.

Our Mother was a very selfless person. Everything she had,  she shared with us. She loved the simple things of life and valued her belief in God. She participated in various charities and was actively involved in Church activities. Sitting around her Children made her happy.  At home, she loved entertaining people.  The Family was very important to her.  She was the one we ran  to when he had problems.  No matter how upset you are, she will make you feel better. She was a strong woman .. . . .

This is the heaviest burden and the greatest pain ever. I never used to understand the pain people went through.. . .. i didnt know it was this painful. For us, our whole world has fallen apart. God is our strength.”

Reacting to news of the demise , Former State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Lady Julie Onyeukwu described Lady Eudora Iwuanyanwu as an explemplary woman of God who was dedicated to improving  the  lives of the less priviledged.

“Lady Eudora was a peaceful woman and a very big supporter of her Husband (Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu) and his interests.  She stood by the truth at all times and lived  a transparent life worthy of emulation.

As a Woman Leader, she  had a Power profile yet remained Humble and down to earth. She positively impacted the lives of those  who came around her. She was a good friend and, will be greatly missed.

IMO STATE has lost a rare gem. Quite saddening that these beautiful attributes  of  Lady Eudora Iwuanyanwu are only being highlighted here upon her death.

Burial Arrangements are scheduled for the weekend of October 7th, 2011. She is survived by her loving Husband, Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu,  Five Children and Grand Children. A painful loss to all.

Please remember the Iwuanyanwu Family in your Prayers. We pray for God to console them during this difficult period and give them the fortitude to bear the loss.

Adieu Nneoma!
