Dora Akinyili responds via Facebook. Denies rigging allegations; Looks up to Jesus to finish the "miracle" he started.

For those of us who do not follow Madam Dora Akinyili, the message below was posted on her Official Facebook Profile a few hours ago. Please read. I will meet you at the bottom of the Page.

My Dear Friends,

Good evening to you all. I hope your day has been eventful.

I am happy to confirm to you that I am still leading my closest rival, Dr. Chris Ngige of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) despite the cancellation of disputed results from some of the wards in Anambra Central Senatorial District. For the concluded votes, I polled 66,273 while Ngige got 65,576.

The areas for the re-run election to be held on a date to be fied by INEC will take place in Enugwu Ukwu 1, Nimo 1, Nimo 3, Nri 11, Umunachi 1, Obosi, Nkpor 2 and Umuoji. The areas cancelled are my strongholds.

The style of the ACN was to cause fracas in places where I am strong. They even carried ballot boxes in some of those areas. I am however comfortable with the re-run because they are in areas where I am in control.

Finally, let me assure you that no single allegation of electoral malpractice has been brought against me by anybody — of course, I didn’t commit any.

Ngige and ACN are alleging that my party APGA and the Anambra State government rigged the election for me, but this is a baseless allegation from desperate politicians unwilling to accept the will of the people as expressed through their votes.

As I said earlier, there is absolutely nothing to worry about the re-run. Our God who gave us victory on April 9 will finish the miracle for us in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Thanks again and good night.

Your friend,

Dora.

As we all know. It is always good  to hear the two sides to any “story” before jumping to conclusions. Glad we have heard from Prof.Akinyili. Let’s wait to hear from Jesus and hope he performs that Miracle “one- more-time” in the re-run elections because a lot is at stake.

Pending details yet to be made public  from the Ngige camp , embattled returning officer Alex Anene who put ___________  on blast and ofcourse, INEC,  I am led in the spirit to reserve the rest of my comments  for now.

Meanwhile….how many concerned supporters are ready to explore the spiritual realm with Madam Dora Akinyili  in anticipation of a “miraculous” result? How many loyal followers do we still have standing? See you at the Polling booth!
