Information reaching IMO STATE BLOG confirm that a high power delegation of influential Igbo leaders were in London over the weekend to discuss burial arrangements of the late icon, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
In the closed door meeting which lasted for 5hrs, IMO STATE BLOG learnt that a decision was reached to keep Ikemba Ojukwu’s body in London for Security reasons till the burial. A tentative date for late January was also penciled down.
Present at the meeting were Ojukwu’s sons Emeka and Okigbo , his widow, Bianca Ojukwu , Lillian Onoh (Bianca’s elder sister), Governor Peter Obi, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, Imo APGA party leader, Chief Martin Agbaso, Chief Victor Umeh, (APGA National Chairman )Mr.Ifeanyi Uba (Capitol Oil) and ofcourse our State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
While the delegation met in London, MASSOB leader, Ralph Uwazuruike stayed in Nigeria to receive visitors who came to pay their condolences. For those who choose to read meanings into his absence in London, you are on your own !!

Although an official date is yet to be announced, four events are certain to precede the burial arrangements.
IMO STATE BLOG was made to understand that the Will of the ex-Biafra leader stated his wish for his remains to be taken to four countries before he is committed to mother-earth. The the four countries listed in his Will are: Tanzania, Haiti, Gabon and Ivory coast.
