Seven days mourning period declared for the late legend, Ojukwu from Dec 1.

A Seven day period of mourning has been declared across the Igbo nation to mourn the death of the ex-biafra legend, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

Commencing on the 1st of December, Igbo’s all over the world have been asked to join in offering prayers for the soul of the departed leader.

IMO STATE BLOG learnt that the  declaration was announced by Chief Ralph Uwazuruike and was also confirmed by Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi.
