ROCHAS FOUNDATION: A peek into the world of the 6,000 + children…(VIDEO)

In the words of Mark Twain, “Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see”.

Almost 10 years ago, Governor Rochas Okorocha founded his NGO – Rochas Foundation to give hope to the less priviledged children through Education.  At the weekend, it was announced that the institution was set to float a  free University.

Over the years, the foundation has planted smiles on many faces. Today, Rochas Foundation boasts of a roll call of 6,000 children receiving free education in secondary schools across Owerri, Jos, Ibadan, Ogboko and Kano..

In 2007, some of the kids had the opportunity to attend Summer Camp in the United States. Their testimonies are heart breaking.  If you are as nosey curious as we are about the quality of training these children receive and some of the benefits they enjoy, join us as we take a peek into the world of  Rochas Foundation.

If Governor Okorocha can do this much as a private citizen, we pray that the Children of Imo receive same under his leadership as Governor.
