The Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu has condoled with the government and people of Ghana over the death of President John Atta Mills.
Speaker Uwajumogu expressed sadness over the unfortunate death while describing the late President as an experienced administrator, teacher, leader, politician, motivator, father and lots more.
“He couldn’t have been a good leader known and accepted by his people if he was not first a good follower. Today, the world is mourning the exit of an honest, fearful and great man who impacted positively to the genuine development of Ghana as a country.
May the Almighty God grant the departed Soul of President Atta Mills eternal rest. May God also grant his Vice President Mr. John Mahama who has just been sworn-in as the new president, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
And to the good people of Ghana, I on behalf of the Imo State House of Assembly pray that you overcome this shock. President John Atta Mills was a good man”. Speaker Uwajumogu concluded.
