TRAGEDY: 18 IMSU graduates die on their way to NYSC Camp.

Unconfirmed reports say that 18 fresh graduates of the Imo State University, Owerri   have  died in a ghastly motor  accident. They were said to be travelling to Taraba State, when tragedy struck.

 The corps members were said to be part of the  Batch A, NYSC orientation camp.

From what we gathered,  the students received their call up letters late Thursday evening and proceeded to  embark on the  journey to meet up the  registration deadline.

At press time, the identities of the victims could not be ascertained.  While we await an official statement, one cannot help but question why they did not receive their call up letters early.  Eighteen good lives wasted after suffering to meet up with their tuition, what explanation will the Vice Chancellor, Prof. B.E.B Nwoke,  have for their parents?
