Gov.Okorocha sacrifices salary for Free Education in Imo State

What manner of man is Gov.Rochas Okorocha biko nu? Just when everyone thought his FREE EDUCATION promise was just another campaign PR stunt, He shocks Nigeria by donating his Monthly salary to ensure the children of Imo state go to school.

In line with this policy thrust of my administration, I am donating my entire monthly salary into the education fund. This is my little sacrifice to ensure that all Imo children acquire education” –Gov.Okorocha

Again I ask, what manner of man is our Governor? Is he real? How many Governors can do this for their State? Just the kind of Governor every state should have. Imo has been liberated for real! no be for mouth!

God bless Your Excellency for this selfless gesture.

Thank you so much sir for the Sacrifice, infact we can’t thank you enough, but pls sir another thing is the school facilities, imo state schools are just nothing to write home about. pls let upgrade like rivers state as soon as possible. God bless my Hero and governor.

Your Excellency, Gov. Rochas Okorocha, you are God sent. Your vision is wider than one can think of.
You have just started on your campaign promises by giving free education to Imolites. God Almighty who gave you this vision and wisdom will never let you down, Nigerians will learn from you, you are a pace setter.
I said it before in my congratulatory message to you and I am saying it again, you will rule Nigeria one day.
God is with you, He has sent you to go and deliver his people from the Egyptians that held them captive centuries ago. I want you now to go and tell the Egyptians to let your people go so that they will go and worship Him in Jesus name Amen!.
By the way, your SSG is my towns man. So you are in good hands.

You are God sent with a mission to accomplish which already you have started.Go ahead with this might and power of the Almighty, He will never let you down. I think we have set a pace in Imo for other state governors to emulate. Right here in Lagos, some people (from other parts of nigeria) are asking me to link them up to my state to benefit from the free education but I told them that it is meant for Imolites. You can imagine that people are already warming to come and settle down in a land that was deserted sometime ago due to bad governance. Milk and honey is flowing now and Nigerians as a whole want to be partakers. It is therefore my submission that the national Assembly should pass a bill to be signed into law mandating all state governors to sacrifice their salaries for free education in their various states. This not only result to mass literacy but will discourage the ‘due or die’ philosophy of Nigerian politicians.

this is all show am not impressed.what plan does he have for infrastructure for the education.what happens after rochas leaves office?this is not a good foundation for education in the state.take a look at rivers state they have very good infrastructure and every one is contributing.they have a good plan that will last beyound rotimis admistration.philantropic polictics will never move a state or country forward it will only make the citizens lazy and dependent.

Congratulations Chief R. Okorocha. I live and work in the USA and can tell you first hand how excited we from Imo State are to have a governor that has started his tenure with such generosity as donating your salary to the State. I hope more of your cabinet members who have made money in the free world (before their political world started) can follow suit and donate at least part of their salary for the benefit of the less fortunate among us. I would pledge to do just that if I had their shoes to wear.
Thank you and thanks to God for bringing you forward. For those who are (lol) laughing out loud and want him to also donate his contract kick backs, I can only say that you are insatiable. Not only have you started early accusing him of corruption, you have failed to realize that not one governor before him has made such a gesture at the beginning of his governorship. Let us give him a chance to prove himself different and allow history to judge him. More grease to your elbows Mr. governor.

I am so happy that Ikedi Okakam is gone. My brethren, they said that Igbo enwe Eze. I have seen an Eze in Igbo Land. King Rochas is the only Eze ndi Igbo. I want Owelle to show the Igbo’s the way. This free education is a big blow to all the career politicians. Yes we can. Money is not all we need in life, service to humanity is the greatest. IMO state will be the rising sun of developement of the nation under King Rochas. King Rochas is a gift to all south east. Thank God for this man.
