HRH Eze Oliver Ohanweh pays Courtesy call visit on Rt.Hon Uwajumogu

The Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu on the 11th of July 2011 received a first class traditional ruler from Isiala Mbano Local Government Area, HRH Eze  Oliver Ohanweh in his office. The traditional ruler from Okigwe zone told the speaker that his purpose of the visit was to express his happiness for Mr. Speaker because of his sincerity of purpose and exemplary leadership over the years in other aspects of endeavors.

Eze (Dr.) Oliver Oliver Ohanweh insisted that Speaker Uwajumogu’s outstanding leadership qualities must have been responsible for his choice as speaker by his colleagues maintaining that the vibrant legislator would contribute his quota to the fulfillment of Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s Rescue Mission Agenda to the people of Imo State. He described Rt. Hon. Ben Uwajumogu as a patriotic son of Imo State who has all the good qualities of a focused leader and who will unite the people of Okigwe zone. Eze Ohanweh thereafter pleaded with the speaker to thank the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorochas for giving strategic appointments and positions to the people of Okigwe zone.

In his response, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu thanked HRH Eze Oliver Ohanweh for the visit and urged him to continue to support and pray for the success of the Owelle leadership. He also enjoined the traditional ruler to reach out to other traditional rulers in Okigwe zone in particular and Imo State in general to continue to support the government and also assist in fishing out criminal elements in their respective communities. Speaker Uwajumogu particularly advised Eze Ohanweh to take seriously the instructions  of the state governor on the conferment of chieftaincy titles on people of questionable characters, maintaining that when traditional rulers stop recognizing people of dubious behaviors by conferring on them unmerited titles such people would think twice and turn a new leaf.
