Imo Youths back Okorocha's rescue mission.

The youths of Imo State and others who are resident in Imo State have drummed support for Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha describing him as the messiah whom they never voted in vain.
Speaking during the courtesy visit to the Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, Mr Okechukwu Ogbonna, who spoke on behalf of the fourteen youths who were present, said the youths who were equally unjustly incarcerated for supporting the Governor alongside the Chief of Staff never regretted standing for the Governor after all.
His words:
“it is a thing of pride that the government we are a part is being praised by the people for its policy impact even at the grass root. We are extremely glad that our Governor’s policies are people oriented. It is one thing to support a leader and it is another thing for the leader to be a real leader. Now, opposition said it is never possible to have a free education anywhere in the world. But today, they can now see that they are the real enemies of Imo people. We have free education in Imo State. His Excellency is not stopping at that. He is also making frantic effort to give the structural facilities of Imo State Schools a face lift”.
However, one of the leaders of the group from Ohaji/Egbema, Mr. Victor Kelvin Amadi, in his observation extolled the quality leadership of the Governor of Imo State for towing the path of honour by putting the masses first in his policies. He lamented the days of locust Imo people had to suffer many years ago saying if the past administrations had been as focused, transparent, sincere and as pragmatic as the present Governor of Imo State, the State could have gone far ahead in developments. He encouraged the Governor to continue in his strides to leave a legacy the youths will be proud of.
Meanwhile, the leader of the group, Mr. Okechukwu Kelvin Amadi extolled the virtue of Prince Eze Madumere saying his leadership qualities are rare.
His words:
“….. he is down to earth, accommodating, and meticulous in his high level of human relations. You can imagine his accessibility. We the youths are happy with him. He is a man of his word. He always went out of his way to attend to us even while we were unjustly incarcerated with him, he made sure we were comfortable and since then has maintained his good personality. We pray God to bless His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha for his choice of Prince Eze Madumere as our Chief of Staff”.
The youths also prayed the Government to remember them in the scheme of things to enable them contribute their own quota in development of their God given State, Imo.
In his speech, Prince Eze Madumere thanked the youths for the solidarity visit. He also called on the youth to be good ambassadors of Imo State by leading a life devoid of regrets. He told them to acquire the virtue of patience while being creative to add to the development of Imo State. Prince Eze Madumere particularly spoke in strong terms against any youth taking to crime as such person will be seen as an enemy of the State. He also encouraged the group to have courage to report any matter in their various communities that could be a threat to life and property. He further explained to the youths that they are the future leaders of Imo State and that is the reason the Governor is preparing the youths for tomorrow.
His words:
“….the Governor in his wisdom has come up with programmes and policies that are geared towards preparing the future leaders, which are you. It is your place to say no to the enemies of Imo State who are stopping at nothing to make sure that they continue to make corrupt gain from the system. Be diligent in your studies for those still in school and those of you already out of system, think of what you can do to help the State, which will benefit you also in return. Let it not be heard that you are being condemned for acts linked to crime for such person will be seen as an enemy. Be rest assured that this Government will do her best to make sure that the environment is made conducive for all of you to prosper. Once again, His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha holds all of you dear to his heart and will remember you in the scheme of things.
